Sherry was such an amazing person!

We are all so lucky to have had her in our lives,
even for a little while.

Personally I would like to thank every one for their support during a very difficult time in our lives. And I know I'm not over-stepping my bounds when I extend the warmest gratitude from her family and near family for all of the touching sympathies we've received from a long list of sad friends.

It's always amazing how we can experience so much joy during such a sad time, but you all helped keep us from sinking too low, and for that I will always be grateful.

She loved nature and spring in Colorado so I've reserved the
East Shelter
in Waneka Lake Park in Lafayette CO,
for April 18th, from 10am to 10PM.

Keeping with Sherry's wishes, we'd like you to join us for a celebration of Sherry and our lives with her. In the interest of sharing we hope you'll all attend a Pot Luck picnic.

Everybody is welcome, Spouses, Kids, dogs with leashes, etc. We'll probably be munching throughout he day so show up when you can.
It's not mandatory, but RSVP below if you can, and let us know how many of you to expect, and plan accordingly.

If the weather doesn't cooperate I'll reschedule the picnic for a later date
.

Waneka Lake Park has playground equipment, numerous picnic tables, two shelters, two barbecue grills, restrooms, drinking fountains, and lots of parking. Sorry, there is no swimming allowed in Waneka Lake.

The west entrance is located at 1600 Caria Drive and is accessed by turning north from South Boulder Road on Centaur Village Drive and left on Caria Drive. Follow Caria Drive as it curves around to the park entrance.

Waneka Lake - has two separate shelters that are available for rent. The Waneka East Shelter is closest to the boathouse. Please feel free to bring a few  lawn chairs if you have them, for sitting in the sun.

Many of you have also asked about a memorial.
We have set up a fund in her memory, you may donate to the fund by clicking the link below, or you can feel free to send a check made out to:
"Friends of Sherry M"

to myself, or any Wells Fargo branch and they'll deposit in the memorial fund.

I owe her so much that I'll never be able to give back.
All I really have to offer is my artwork, which Sherry strongly encouraged.

That means you may also purchase any of the artwork on this site, and the profits will go to the memorial fund.

So please visit the Gallery and stock up on gifts for yourself and others knowing you're helping to keep alive the memory of a very special lady!

Thank you again for your support
